Meta has secured a strategic win by recruiting Alan Dye, Apple’s chief of user interface design. Dye will join Meta on December 31st after nearly 20 years at Apple, where he has led the UI design team since 2015. Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed the departure and named Stephen Lemay as Dye’s successor.
Mark Zuckerberg announced the creation of a new creative studio within Reality Labs that will be led by Dye.
