During a recent gathering in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain reiterated their dedication to enhancing bilateral security cooperation. This commitment was underscored at the seventh meeting of the Security Committee Working Group, a part of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council. The session highlights the ongoing efforts by both nations to strengthen their strategic collaboration in addressing regional security issues.

The meeting was co-led by Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Issa, the Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation at Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior, alongside Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Deputy Police Chief. Their leadership set the stage for a productive dialogue focused on security matters that are of mutual concern to both countries.

Throughout the session, representatives from Saudi Arabia and Bahrain engaged in discussions aimed at reviewing the current state of their security coordination. They also explored new strategies to bolster their cooperation, reflecting the shared interest in maintaining and promoting stability within the region. This dialogue is a testament to the strong partnership between the two Gulf nations, particularly in the face of ongoing regional challenges.

The meeting is an integral part of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council’s broader mission to deepen ties across several key sectors.
