UAE Criticizes Iran’s Technological Aggression Towards Gulf States and Jordan

The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation of Iran’s recent attacks on Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan, labeling them a significant threat to the security and stability of the region. The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement asserting that these strikes are a blatant violation of the sovereignty of neighboring countries. The ministry reiterated its unwavering support for Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan in the face of these aggressive actions.

Additionally, the UAE expressed concern over attacks on Iraq’s Kurdistan region, cautioning that such acts could further destabilize the already volatile area. These developments come amidst rising tensions in the Middle East, where military exchanges involving Iran and the United States have been escalating.

Kuwaiti officials reported that one of the Iranian strikes targeted a power and water desalination facility, resulting in a fire and causing extensive damage to several electricity-generation units. The incident underscores the potential for significant disruptions in vital infrastructure due to these hostilities.

In Jordan, the military confirmed that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed three Iranian missiles that breached the country’s airspace. Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties or material damage from these interceptions, highlighting the effectiveness of Jordan’s defensive measures.

Meanwhile, Bahrain’s armed forces announced that their air defense systems had also successfully intercepted and neutralized multiple aerial threats originating from Iran. These defensive successes demonstrate the preparedness of regional powers to respond to aggressive actions, even as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East.
